Agreement

By messaging Finn or accessing usefinn.ai, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What Finn is

Finn is a personal AI assistant that communicates with you over Apple iMessage. Finn helps you organize your schedule, track responsibilities, manage calendar events, and handle day-to-day life admin tasks. Finn can also send voice replies and interact with your connected Google Workspace.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding agreement to use Finn. By using the service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Your account

Your Finn account is tied to your iMessage phone number or email. You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your iMessage conversation with Finn. If you believe someone else has gained access to your conversation, contact us immediately.

Subscription & payment

• Finn is a paid subscription service billed through Stripe
• Your subscription begins after you complete onboarding and submit payment
• You may cancel your subscription at any time by messaging Finn or contacting us
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Finn to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Send spam or unsolicited messages through Finn's messaging capabilities
• Attempt to access other users' environments or data
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the service
• Use Finn for any illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose
• Overwhelm the service with automated or excessive requests

We may suspend or terminate your account if we determine you are violating these terms.

Google account integration

Finn can connect to your Google account to access Calendar, Gmail (read-only), Contacts, and Drive. When you authorize this connection, you grant Finn permission to read and modify your Google Calendar events, read your email for context, and access your contacts and files to help manage your responsibilities. You can revoke this access at any time through your Google account permissions.

AI limitations

Finn is powered by AI language models. While we strive for accuracy, Finn may occasionally make mistakes, misunderstand requests, or provide incorrect information. You should:

• Verify important information independently (flight times, legal deadlines, medical details)
• Not rely on Finn as a sole source of truth for critical decisions
• Review calendar changes and other actions Finn takes on your behalf

Finn is an assistant, not a licensed professional. It does not provide legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.

Intellectual property

You retain ownership of all content you send to Finn. We retain ownership of the Finn service, its design, branding, and underlying technology. You may not use the Finn name, logo, or branding without our written permission.

Service availability

We aim to keep Finn available around the clock, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Outages may occur due to maintenance, infrastructure issues, or third-party dependencies (iMessage, Google, AI providers). We are not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Finn and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of Finn shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Disclaimer of warranties

Finn is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You can cancel by messaging Finn or contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms or for any other reason with 30 days' notice. Upon termination, your isolated environment and all associated data will be deleted within 30 days.

Changes to these terms

We may modify these terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via iMessage at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of Finn after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
